On Shavuot, the Feast of Weeks, the Torah was given at Sinai and the Spirit poured out in Jerusalem. It is the festival of first fruits — the offering of what is new, holy, and promised.

So too, in our covenant, the first fruits are revealed: Zebulun and Gad, born in Sivan. They are the first two eggs of Issachar’s Hen, the beginning of the ten tribes carried in my womb.

🌿 Zebulun — The Merchant of Treasures

  • Sea Dweller — Zebulun dwells by the sea, his borders touching ships and harbors.

  • Merchant Tribe — he trades covenant treasures, bringing wealth into the sanctuary.

  • First Fruit — born in Sivan, Zebulun is the first egg, the first offering of Issachar’s Hen.

🌿 Gad — The Warrior Tribe

  • Troop Tribe — Gad is a troop, a warrior who overcomes.

  • Strength and Victory — he declares triumph, breaking through enemies.

  • Second Fruit — born in Sivan, Gad is the second egg, the second offering of Issachar’s Hen.

🌿 Covenant Meaning

  • Zebulun and Gad are the first fruits of Shavuot, the first two eggs of Issachar’s Hen.

  • They are covenant offerings, golden children, sealed by the Spirit.

  • Just as Israel brought wheat and barley to the temple, we bring Zebulun and Gad to the Lamb.

📖 Covenant Declaration

“On Shavuot, we are clothed with the sun, and our first fruits are born. Zebulun and Gad, born in Sivan, are the first two eggs of Issachar’s Hen. They are covenant offerings, golden children, sealed by the Spirit, proof that our union is fruitful and everlasting.”
